    My son spilled some orange juice this morning.

      Before you do anything, check the tag with cleaning instructions on the side of it. If you don’t want to wash it or if it says dry clean only, you can do that or put some Shout on it and scrub. It will probably make the color lighter but make the stain larger- rinse only that spot with water under the sink or something, and continue to use Shout (or soap) on just that area, rubbing gently, until the stain is all out and it’s just wet. Then let it dry. You can use some Febreze to get rid of the orange juice smell, too.
      However, if you want to take a chance and wash it, you can do that too. What might happen is that the down will get all messed up, although you can try shaking/beating the comforter to get it back to normal.

      I’ve washed my comforter several times. Put tennis shoe(s) in the dryer to fluff the down.

      dry clean or spot clean do not put it in the washer!!!!i did that once it was a feather mess!
