• PostHeaderIcon Is There A Better Place To Donate Clothes Than The Salvation Army?

I’m a teen and I have done community service before. I found that they tend to throw out any clothing that doesn’t seem somewhat new. Also, if ’s a bag of clothing and they don’t like what’s on top, they trash the whole thing! Personally, I think that’s a waste.
Is any way to channel old clothes to places (perhaps other than America) that will accept perfectly acceptable clothes?
    Thanks

well, you could always go local. churches and schools tend to collect clothing donations to give to homeless shelters and such. look around for those.
local shelters and organizations also usually take in clothing so check out your neighborhood.
places that are similar in concept to the salvation army are goodwill and the vietnam veterans of america.
btw, thanks for the tip on the salvation army. i’ll keep that in mind when i want to donate clothes :]
