I want one of these two pets and I don’t know which one is friendlier and more social towards it’s care taker.

i’d go for a duck, i have had geese on a farm and they were just there, where as my pet duck followed me everywhere. he was a real character. BUT you need to check you local council laws to see if you are allowed to own one of these birds, i found out later that i should not have hand raised my duckling in the city, but Donald didn’t mind, he was spoilt! and now resides on a huge farm, he still comes up for food.

Geese can actually be trained almost the same way a dog can. And they make EXCELLENT guard ‘dogs’.
Ducks on the other had - not so much. Although they do taste good.
